The Colemans are not fancy folks, and we're certainly far from perfect, but we humbly invite you to network with us and see what we are all about...

Jim's Story

I'm a sinner who was invited to church at age 18 and after "counting the cost and investigating" for six months, finally took the plunge and told God "OK, if you're really there, come into my heart and make me into a Christian". At that time I didn't know how Jesus could forgive sin but I knew I needed it. It was the beginning of my personal growth spiritually. At age 20 I went to Texas and worked with a group called The Agape Force for a few years. When I was 24, I married Shaaron. At that time I worked as a mechanic and loved racing motorcycles and cars.

I would like to think that I've learned a few things over the years. I value the presence of God, because this is where I have seen his power show through in creative ways like healing and prophetic encouragement. I find that God is able to encourage folks in places outside the church - at work, at New Age events, even at the local sports car club! My heart is to see God reach inside people and really touch them, heal them, and get them functioning in His kingdom. I love to see people equipped and released into their personal destinies through hearing and heeding the voice of God.

Why would God want my wife and I to start a new ministry? I don't know.  Maybe He's scraping the bottom of the barrel!  Every time I pray and ask him what I should DO in this new venture He just says "I'll be with you". That is all I need. His presence is the key. After all, it is supposed to be all about Him, not me

Shaaron's Story

I didn't grow up in a Christian home, but my best friend at age 12 took me to church with her family regularly. This made quite an impact on me, but I ultimately went my own way and lived a partying kind of life until I was 20 years old. Finally I hit rock bottom; there was no place to go but up! I radically surrendered my life to Christ, and I haven't looked back since.

Before Jim and I were married I attended Glad Tidings Church and Ecclesia Bible College, while Jim attended Calvary Temple. After marriage we were plugged in at New Hope Foursquare Church for 14 years, then at Vineyard Christian Fellowship for 7 years.  We now attend Eastgate in Abbotsford, BC. I have completed Level I & Level II of Francis Frangipane's online school, In Christ's Image.

While Jim likes fast cars, I prefer fast computers! As an Administrative Assistant for two local charities, I have 17 years of experience in the nonprofit world.

I love to pray, and I believe that all worthy works spring from intimacy with Christ. I have been involved with children's ministry for over 25 years, and I'm sure that working with kids will continue to be an important focus for me...even if it's just my own grandchildren!
