What is The Net Ministries?
 For
years my wife and I have wondered what
"The Church of the Future"
might look like as God continues to restore all things to conform to
his original plan. The Net Ministries was launched in
April, 2004 with a vision to "network the Passionate Sons" beyond
the walls of their individual churches.
Networking
Building collaborative
relationships with other churches and believers as God leads. This
might include joint prayer meetings, service
projects or evangelism. We agree with the prayer of Jesus in John
17, "That they may be one," and we feel that unity is
a vital key to
reaching our county for Christ.
Cultural
Relevance
Sometimes it seems that
we Christians have developed our own mini-culture and language! We
want to learn to speak the truth of the gospel in an "unreligious"
way that is understandable to people who don't attend church.
Hospitality
We will open our home for prayer
meetings and other spiritually-based meetings and events.
But we don't want to spend all our time in "church"! We would also
like to have fun building relationships with co-workers, neighbors,
friends and family, and will make a special effort to do so.
Frugal
Stewardship and Radical Giving
We love
to give money away! Keeping our day jobs will
enable us to give more to missions and other great Christian causes.
Equipping and
Team Ministry
Our
highest joy would be to see others growing to their full potential
in Christ. Our philosophy is, "everyone can play." Therefore, we
would like to take advantage of training opportunities and further
explore the concept of team ministry.
